”I can’t recommend Abby enough! After my daughter was born I had a hard time with my milk supply and she made me lactation cookies. She also made the time to come over after her work days to help me with nursing my daughter. I went through many times where both my daughter and I would be crying and I felt like giving up on breast feeding and Abby helped me to find the best positions that were comfortable and helped get her to latch. She was very encouraging throughout the whole process. She checked in regularly to see how the baby and I were doing and to offer more help if I needed it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with a lactation counselor in the midst of all of my frustrations with underproducing.”

“Abby is AMAZING. She consulted with me a couple days into my breastfeeding journey and immediately put me at ease. I was experiencing a painful latch and had very little confidence in myself, but Abby changed all of that in less than an hour. Not only did she provide simple strategies to help ease the pain and make breastfeeding more comfortable, but she also built me up as a new mama with her beautiful positivity. It is hard to find the right support as a new mom and Abby addressed me as a whole person - not as a problem to be fixed. There is no way I would still be breastfeeding 13 months later (and counting!) without Abby’s wonderful help!”

“Grateful for Abby! My daughter was born 6 weeks early with a month long stay in the hospital. As a first time Mom, I obviously had no clue on what I was doing. I tried with the lactation consultants in the hospital but I was struggling and ready to give up! Abby took the time to come to my house to help me. She explained everything in a way that made sense, as well as put me at ease! I remember feeling so relieved after our visit. For the first time I didn’t feel like I was failing as a Mother for not being able to breast feed my baby. Instead, she assured me that breastfeeding / pumping is different for every woman, and that it’s OK to have different results than others. She checked on me continuously and supported me through the whole process. Even though my journey was different and I wasn’t able to produce a lot, I was still able to give my daughter something for her first few months. Thanks to Abby, I learned I wasn’t failing as a mother and that even though my amounts were small, I was still doing great!! Abby is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable! I’m forever grateful for her support through that time! “
